Son of Carlos Santana, Salvador Santana continues the line of excellent musicians in his family. As a keyboardist and composer, Santana mixes rich sounds together. Infusing hip-hop, funk, Latin fusion and rock, his style is completely idiosyncratic.
The contemporary artist grew up around music and at a young age began playing the piano and inn 2004, Santana joined other musicians to create the Salvador Santana Band. As the front man, Santana continues to do what he does best with the help of Emerson Cardenas on bass, Woody Aplanalp on guitar/ vocals, Tony Austin on drums, Quincy McCaray on vocals and back up keyboard and Jose Espinosa on sax, flute and percussion.
The dynamics of the group are simply perfect for the fusion of music they play, which Santana refers to as a new genre that embodies so many different ones.
