76: Unknown Bruce Springsteen plays the Main Point in Bryn Mawr
Moment 692 on the countdown was Bruce Springsteen plays the Main Point on February 5th 1975. While this show was quite legendary it’s a show on April 24, 1973 that remains another memorable early Bruce show in Philly.
Bruce was supposed to play at Villanova University for the “Villanova Senior Concert” on April 13, 1973 with Hall and Oates opening, but the concert was canceled. He did return to the Main Point for two nights – two shows each night – on April 24 and 25th.
