I recall some of the day. I think it was the first outdoor stadium concert in phila. We had about eight people in our group and only six tickets. I definitely remember two buddy,s climbing the fence and ripping their shirts. I graduated from high school two days before the concert, and planned to go down to the shore for senior week after the show. I can remember buying the orange juice cartons(great for mixing w/ vodka) the sunburn, and the chills in the evening. I didnt make it to the shore until the next day but I remember the show was absolutely the best way to kick off a great summer. JFK was a great stadium for a concert.

I remember it well - we came down from East Brunswick,NJ for this one. I still run into people who went to that show. Remember the garbage fight. the firecrackers flying- my sister got fit by one (not hurt though). Remember the announcements about dehydration. Pousette dart band, gary wright, the mummers, Frampton (all the girls had a crush on him)-and Yes (YES!) the lazer show was great and they looked like guys from another lovely peaceful planet with the wind blowing their clothes back- it was dreamlike and futuristic to me. It was a beautiful day and beautiful night.
