Sir Paul @ Carnegie Hall 1997

by Sas, Wilmington, Delaware

Every moment I have heard and read has been huge and I love hearing and reading them! I could repeat them all! But one I haven’t noticed is when Paul McCartney debuted his classical composition, Standing Stone, in Carnegie Hall on November 19, 1997. He had performed it first in October of that year at [now they know how many holes it takes to fill the] Albert Hall in London. Linda and family were all there looking wonderful [despite her diagnosis and treatments for cancer] and we could see them from our seats beaming brilliantly and proudly. Paul took four curtain calls after the concert and confetti stating “Paul McCartney’s Standing Stone, Carnegie Hall November 19, 2007″ fell everywhere for the entire time! It was a thrilling night! Apparently he took six curtain calls at Albert Hall! Moving from different musical genres is inspiring for musicians and for fans as well!
