Jungleland

by Mary Rogers, Haddonfield, NJ

I started following Bruce after seeing the band at the Erlton Lounge in Cherry Hill, NJ in the early 70’s. Becoming instantly hooked I saw just about every show I could. What was amazing was that it didn’t matter where it was or how many people were there, the band played 2+ hours or pure rock & roll. But one show sticks in my mind. It was I believe at McCarter Theater in Princeton. It was the first time they played Jungleland. With the newly added violin & the great venue it was one of those musical experiences that you never forget. I had goosebumps that I get every time I hear that song today.
