Crossroads Guitar Festivals 1 and 2

Crossroads Guitar Festival 1 in Dallas, 2004, and Crossroads Guitar Festival 2 Chicago, which I attended on July 28, 2007, were marathon concerts celebrating the central instrument of rock and roll, the guitar. Both CGF1 and CGF2 were thrilling concerts featuring great musicians giving peak performances. Guitarists performing at CGF2 included: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, BB King, Buddy Guy, John McLaughlin, Sonny Landreth, Robert Cray, Robbie Robertson, Steve Winwood, Jimmie Vaughan, David Hidalgo and Los Lobos, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, John Mayer, and Willie Nelson.
