Concert for George - November 29, 2002

On the first anniversary of his death, musicians who had played with George Harrison and knew him intimately came together for a tribute to the man and his music. The concert, which was deeply moving but not sentimental, included performances of George’s songs as well as the Indian music he loved. While I wasn’t fortunate enough to attend in person, the DVD conveys very well the musical magic that was created that evening.
