The Beatles Live from England

In 1967 I remember the excitement of watching TV as the Beatles sang “All You Need is Love” in a live broadcast from England over satellite. John Lennon wrote the song just for this occasion. The Beatles segment was part of an international Our World program with participants from around the globe. The idea that we could watch such live performance was mind-boggling. . Who knew that the technology would keep expanding so that with further advances such live events from around the world get taken from granted.
