Beatles at Shea Stadium

I know the Beatles will be at the top of many memorable moments, but I have to share my experience.
When I was 12 years old, WIBG radio ran a contest for 99 winners to go to Shea Stadium with them to see the Beatles. I sent in many postcards and, believe it or not, they called my name on the radio. I had 3 minutes to call back and I called before the time even started. Amazingly, my parents let me go, even though I was only 12 and only got 1 ticket. It was the most amazing and memorable night of my life. I was a Beatles’ fan from the time I first saw them on the Ed Sullivan show so this was a dream come true. I still have the ticket stub, and I will never forget that night.
