Back to the “world”

In late 1968 I was flying from the west coast to Philly…with a stop in Chicago. I had spent the last 20 months in Vietnam. A guy with a beard sat next to me and we starting talking…not about the war…MUSIC!! He went on to tell me of the “out of sight” drum solo by this guy, Ginger Baker, on this song…Toad. Since I was out in the Boonies for a couple of years…this was all new to me. That night…I landed and went out and bought the Cream ablum…still is damn good!
