It was April 24, 1985 and U2 played their 2nd show at the Spectrum that tour. Both shows were AMAZING (at 15 I had to beg to go to both shows) but I’ll never forget the end. They ended with “40″ that tour and they were long off the stage. The lights were up, people were leaving the arena. We were practically out side the Spectrum and people were still chanting the chorous of “40″. I’ve been to HUNDREDS of concerts since and I never felt that kind of emotion with every other member of the audience. It was mind blowing and something I’ll never forget.
