Grateful Dead, Philly Spectrum I 9/13/1993, middle show of 3-date Philly venue.
I always saw interesting sights at Dead shows… some real, others imagined. One real sight I recall from well before this evening’s show was an enterprising young man with a sign walking Broad St. near the parking that read like a protest sign: “It has been 20 years since the Dead have played Dark Star in Philadelphia.”
I’d like to think that he provided the spark for the exceptional 2nd set: Scarlet> Fire> Playin> ***Dark Star***> Terrapin> Drumz> Jam> Easy Answers> Days Between> Good Lovin E: IFTL
