Philadelphia Orchestra concert after 9/11

Several days after the 9/11 disaster, our esteemed Philadelphia Orchestra, fully aware of the healing power of music, generously performed a free concert at The Mann Music Center. The venue was packed with those of us who needed to fill our hearts and souls with the music that this talented orchestra, such a proud part of Philadelphia, put together for us. If you were there, you know exactly what I mean. I’ll never forget this outstanding musical moment.
