The most incredible moment for me was when Bing Crosby had David Bowie on his Christmas show back in the late 70’s. At the time I was a big Bowie fan and couldn’t wait to see him on TV. The duet of “Little Drummer Boy” was unbelievable. I was watching 2 artists from two different generations perform one of my all time favorite Christmas carols. I knew I was watching history in the making. Their beautiful collaboration only became popular in the last few years, but I am grateful because generations to come will come to love this rendition by two of our greatest musical artists. It always brings a smile to my face when I hear their song played at Christmas time.
