Backstage with Styx

My best friend and I won a trivia contest for a local radio station in North Jersey to see Styx when we were juniors in high school. We won dinner for 2 along with the DJ’s, great tickets for the Paradise Theater concert and backstage passes to meet the band! The show was fantastic. Backstage everyone was drinking Heineken and eating watermelon. Then we got to meet the band. Dennis DeYoung had on purple loafers, Tommy Shaw was a no-show and my friend told James Young that he looked like Greg Allman! I’ll never forget it.
