Devil With A Blue Dress
by Lisa Haun, Glenside, PA
When I was a kid, my mom had a big Mediterranean style Hi Fi. Her musical taste ran to Ferrante & Teicher, Mantovani and a few movie soundtracks. One day when I was about ten “Devil With A Blue Dress” came out of the car radio. I had never heard anything like it. I was transfixed, I was terrified and I wanted more. Much more. Forty years later I have spent most of my adult life working in and around the music business, first as photographer, then moving on to working at labels. Now I’m back in Philadelphia and you can usually find me working downstairs next door to you at World Cafe Live. My taste in music spans Aztec Camera to Zydeco. But Mitch Ryder still rules!

Its a classic, an oldie but still “catchy”
