My friend and I went to see the Young Dubliners play at a place called Gartons in Vail one winter several years back. The band always stayed at a lodge there and we all usually went back there after the show to hang out for a few hours on the couches in front of the large fireplace.

I did not know it but this was the show that Lowen and Navarro decided to play at. They ended up opening for the Dubliners and then after the show they came back to the lodge and played until the sun came up! They played anything that anyone wanted them to play—including their hit song by Pat Benatar ‘We Belong’. It was the best fireside sing-along I have ever had the opportunity to participate in and the greatest musical moment I have yet to have in my life!
