Grateful Dead - Cornell 1977

Frankly I’m surprised that this doesn’t seem to have already been submitted (or maybe I don’t understand how the search function works). Of course it’s not actually a personal memory (although I was transported there in the late 90s with some chemical assistance).
Generally hailed as the Dead’s greatest live show (with many to choose from) this performance boasts a scarlet-fire which might very well be the pinnacle of their recorded catalog. (Notwithstanding the Donna vocals.) What else can you say — recordings of this show can make committed Deadheads out of people who didn’t even think they liked the Grateful Dead.
