Walter Hyatt
by Lorraine Waughn, West Chester, PA
After hearing a morning interview of Walter Hyatt with Michaela, my husband and I went to hear him play at Landsdowne. We loved the intimate setting, and we loved this man’s music. He was so approachable and took time to speak with us, and sign our CD we bought from him.
Sadly we learned of his death soon after, on the fatal flight of the ValueJet crash in the Everglades. We are moved every time we hear his songs still over the radio, or play his CD during dinner. Recently a 21 year old co-worker heard a cut over the radio at work, and said…”Who is this? I love this, I could listen to this all day!.”….
Walter and his lovely music still touch us all.

Thanks for your kind words. Walter’s music is unforgettable.
There’s a new CD in the works. Should be available before Christmas. Check www.WalterHyatt.com and his MySpace page for updates.
All the best,
