“The Hearth”

There used to be a really cool place in Upper Bucks called “The Hearth,” and some big names would play there once in a while, and my boyfriend at the time knew the owner.
Well, Eric Burdon came to town, and naturally I went to the show. Afterwards my beau said “come with me,” and took me back to meet Eric Burdon. I told him what a pleasure it was to meet him, and offered my hand which he took and kissed the back of!!
I haven’t washed it since.
