Kurt Cobain’s suicide

As a mid-20’s adult growing up through the height of the grunge era, and not living through Woodstock, the Beatles or John Lennon’s murder; not many single moments stand out as much as the death of Kurt Cobain. Grunge music had taken hold of the music empire in the early nineties and at the front of the scene, as a John Lennon like figurehead, was Kurt Cobain. His pioneering image was very polarizing among age groups, but would forever shape the face of the music industry. With his death came a momumental lose to the music community and what it would become over the next 10 years.
