Remember This: Van Halen is “Hot for Teacher”
Once Van Halen became “Van Hagar” they lost the showmanship and humor of the Diamond Dave era. Through the last 20+ years of frequent lineup changes and attempted reunions, the band has had continued chart success (at least through the 90s) but still haven’t recaptured the fun that fueled this early MTV classic - the definition of “rawk”, according to the 13-year-old boys air guitaring inside every one of us.
