U2

The first time I saw U2 was at Red Rock, outside of Denver. My sister wanted to see the opening band, and U2 was going to be taped for MTV. The day of the concert was cold and rainy. They were debating to cancel it, which would mean that they would reschedule it at an indoor arena later in the week. At the last minute, U2 decided that they would play in the rain. It was fantastic. I became a U2 fan that night. You could tell that they were going to be around for a long time. They also played the next night at the indoor arena with the other bands. They didnt have to, but you know when bands go out of their way to make fans, that they have staying power.
