Even if you've read this article before, it's a great revisit, and thanks so much for posting the Main Point show for all to hear. This is prime, peak Springsteen, back when his music was great fun. There's even a violin in the E Street Band for heaven's sake, just awesome stuff. Great to hear Ed Sciaky on the intro, the WMMR broadcast sound quality is superb. The recent anniversary reissue of Born to Run (2 CD & DVD) also captures the joy of this period very well. Thanks again for this blast from the past.
