I have been a fan of the Beasties since the seventh grade when “License to Ill” came out. That is still one of my all time favorite albums. You know a lot of bands that start out so great seem to fade over time. The first album you love so much seems to be the best after listening to the newer ones that just don’t capture you the way the first one did. The songs just aren’t as strong. But I fell in love with the Beastie Boys all over again after listening to one song “Sabotage.” To me it is their best song to date and it ranks in my top ten for all-time favorite songs. I never get tired of hearing it or loudly singing off key to it while driving in my car. If I had never heard anything by the Beastie Boys before that song would have made me an instant fan.
